SPHINX Application - 2008

Thank you for considering applying for membership into SPHINX. 

Selection for SPHINX is based upon scholarship, leadership and direct contribution to The Ohio State University. Each class of SPHINX is limited to no more than 24 students who fulfill these criteria and have notable achievements in various fields of endeavor. Linking into SPHINX is a distinct honor. The participation and commitment of all new links is a tradition of SPHINX that each class upholds.

In addition to the requirements outlined above, all applicants must have a minimum 3.00 CPHR, at least 90 credit hours after Autumn 2007, and plan to graduate any quarter after Summer 2008. The 3.00 CPHR minimum will also be verified at the end of Winter 2008.

Please note that Mortar Board and The Sullivant Society are also senior class honor societies at The Ohio State University. Individuals are permitted to apply to only one of the three honoraries.

The application will be available January 7th. The application deadline for the SPHINX CLASS OF 2008 is Friday, February 15th at 5:00 p.m. at Kuhn Honors and Scholars Center, 220 West 12th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43210. No application will be considered after this time.
